Alexandre Monin works as Director of pharmacovigilance operators at Stragen Service. Created in 2009, this service provider specializes in monitoring the possible harmful side effects of drugs.

Officiating for pharmaceutical companies or clinical trial sponsors, Stragen Services thus manages everything related to the safety of drug use such as undesirable effects but also any problems that may arise from medication errors or misuse.

This is a complex process that requires staff to be regularly updated on the relevant regulations through training activities using the ExperQuiz solution.

Why did you use an LMS platform?

We made this choice for two reasons. First of all, to train our clients, since there is a regulatory obligation to train all pharmaceutical personnel in pharmacovigilance. Among the activities that we offer in our services, there are training activities knowing that we are starting to have a large number of clients, so we needed to automate the process.

The second reason was to simplify our in-house training with a tool that allows us to easily follow their progress and with which we can update them quickly. Each laboratory can have many employees spread over subsidiaries all over the world. So, we needed a platform that was flexible enough that we didn't have to do face-to-face training and that would allow us to follow the training for each of our customers' subsidiaries on a day-to-day basis.

Why did the ExperQuiz platform appeal to you more than any other?

We liked the ExperQuiz solution because it is a very flexible tool which can be easily adapted to our needs and which offers many possibilities. We also very much appreciate the fact that the people at ExperQuiz are also attentive to our needs and ready to develop new functionalities for Stragen Services and all their customers.

We were interested in being able to create training modules that include a whole path, i.e. a training support, training sessions, a series of tests and at the end a result that automatically generates a certificate in case of success in order to verify that the module has been completed. This is a new feature that was implemented following the presentation that ExperQuiz gave us and that we currently use a lot when a new employee arrives at Stragen Services or at the company of one of our clients.

Concretely, how do you use the ExperQuiz tool?

We program modules for each of the laboratories whose activities we manage. These modules are used once a year for all staff and every time that a new employee arrives at a client.

What do you think of the development of the tool and the customer support offered by the ExperQuiz team?

That's what makes it so satisfying! The development of the ExperQuiz platform is very fast and we are dealing with people who are responsive and attentive.

Since we have been using ExperQuiz, the tool has evolved a lot in terms of both content and form. It is more and more simple to use while being more and more efficient. It is therefore a very interesting solution because it evolves quickly and in the right direction. Recently, for example, we have set up a specific homepage for Stragen Services. Customers and partners who use the tool see a personalized home page with our logo and only the functionalities we want to offer them, which simplifies things because at the beginning we had some problems with users who were confused by all the possibilities of the platform.

What are the users' feedback on the platform?

We have had very positive feedback, especially since we introduced this module system. Moreover, we have also added training videos in the module tool, which means that, whereas before we could just put a PDF or a powerpoint as support. now it is possible to put a video with animations and narration that makes the training even more interactive, a feature that has also been very much appreciated internally.

Would you recommend ExperQuiz and if so, why?

Yes, not only would we recommend the ExperQuiz solution but we have already recommended it to several of our partners including within our Stragen group! It is a very flexible tool that can be adapted to the specific needs of many activities. We are in contact with a very attentive team of staff and they are eager to make the tool evolve in the best possible way.
