Having worked in the company for more than 28 years, Jean Quemard - now Sales Director - has been entrusted with several cross-functional assignments. Among them, the implementation of the ExperQuiz tool within the company, with the particular objective of increasing the skills of the sales teams.
Why did you use ExperQuiz?
Our mission is to listen and meet the needs of caregivers by providing them with the best system required for the care of their patients. We need to understand the importance of our job in helping to save lives.Being a caregiver requires high standards and precision, which is why we must provide our employees with comprehensive and high-level training in order to provide the most relevant responses to those working in the health sector.
We have started to use ExperQuiz, because this tool meets our expectations on many points. Indeed, we want to harmonize the format of the training tool of the various work units (Business Unit) of the company - in particular concerning training in order to improve the performance of our salespeople. Knowledge and education increase their credibility and professionalism and therefore the trust that caregivers place in us. Vygon is recognized as one of the major players in the provision of high quality medical devices. We also want to have a system that allows each BU to work in a similar and independent way at the same time, because within Vygon we have 5 BUs with very disparate medical devices. This ranges from cardiac prostheses to long-term treatments, including anesthesia, resuscitation, neonatology or even surgery and enteral nutrition. Vygon offers a very large number of products and we really want to improve our performance in the speech to be held with our customers (pharmacists, surgeons, anesthetists, resuscitators, nurses, biomedical engineers), hence the importance of organized training. and complete. Finally, it is important for us that we can easily find the training courses set up and ensure a certain continuity, even in the event of rotation or departure of training officers.
How did you adapt the platform to your use case?
We have set up questionnaires to assess the skills of our salespeople according to their level. These are quite varied skills that are learned over time, with increasing strength with each level passed. When you feel that an employee is ready, they are offered the opportunity to take them to the next level through an interview to confirm and validate their knowledge and skills. ExperQuiz takes its place here. Each level requires new requirements - technical skills on the products, sales techniques, etc. We are going to offer by this means a course specific to our company, respecting the values which are dear to us, with as only criteria: acquired skills. With this tool, we will eliminate any potential risk of unfairness, or discrimination in any form. Everyone will therefore have the opportunity to flourish in new roles and responsibilities.
Did the tool allow you to set up new practices?
We really want to build a detailed common program and invest for the long term. To do this, we are working in active collaboration with Isabelle, my contact person within ExperQuiz, to adapt the tool to each BU. To organize this, we must first establish the architecture of our needs, common to each work unit. The goal is really for the platform and our needs to come together. We have therefore created working groups within each unit to best adapt the product (ExperQuiz). For example, we are working on the creation of training plans. That is to say, reflect upon the arrival of a new person, how we will take care of them, give them a vision of the company in the short, medium and long term, explain the organization to them of the company, of the subsidiary, explain how its BU operates, the scope in which it will operate, and finally start the “product” training with upgrades in skills over time and, of course ... get started with ExperQuiz.
What do you think of the customer support offered by ExperQuiz?
Customer support is very efficient, I could say “brilliant”. In terms of responsiveness, I found it extraordinary. After finding ExperQuiz on the internet, I sent an email and 7 minutes later Isabelle called me back. She has never let me down when I have had occasion to ask myself questions in my learning of the tool. She was very responsive and available.
