Automated correction for open-ended questions
Experquiz offers a type of question that is corrected by a trainer asynchronously: it's the open-ended question. The reviewer can write an appreciation and assign a grade which is then integrated into the overall evaluation score.
AI to help use and correct open-ended questions
ExperQuiz utilizes artificial intelligence to enhance learning and help trainers use assessment. One of the innovation is the use of AI powered by OpenAI to analyze answers given to an open-ended question and then suggests comments and a grade that can guide the trainer.
The reviewer can accept all or part of the suggestions and retain the grade if they deem the suggestions relevant. Note that this is only assistance offered to the reviewer who must always define their comment as well as the grade to be assigned, for which they are ultimately solely responsible.
The goal is to help trainers utilize open-ended questions in assessments without significantly increasing the time required to correct each answer.
Each suggestion is solely based on the text of the question and the response. No image/media/attachment is taken into account when generating the correction or grade assignment.
Activating and using the feature
To activate features that use artificial intelligence, you must check the "Use AI features" option in the company settings.
To use the AI based feature, it is necessary to specify in the question settings that there will be a request for correction assistance.
When the evaluation is completed, the automatic correction is triggered. This may take a few minutes. This does not prevent the reviewer from reviewing the responses and starting their analysis.
It is imperative to verify the quality of the suggestions based on the user's response.
Experquiz offers another feature that uses artificial intelligence to facilitate the trainer's work: the question generator for quickly creating quizzes and assessments! Find out more.
